Meet Dylan! (or, Bob Dylan – my husband’s FAVORITE artist) He’s a 4 mos. old purebred Lhasa Apso that came home with us yesterday afternoon. He’s settling in nicely. We originally called him Indiana (Indy) Jones, but it just didn’t seem to suit him. So, we thought and thought and tossed around plenty of names, and eventually settled on Dylan, because he seems to be a very chill kind of guy. He was so mellow the first day I began to wonder if he was sedated! We took him to the vet yesterday evening and she said he’s a beautiful looking dog and very healthy! (yay!)

Adorable!
ryc: The information for your mortgage guy certainly wouldn’t hurt, though I think it will be awhile while we try and improve our financial picture a bit first, including our credit and such. We actually have the guy that got us into this house who I trust and did a great job for us and we will likely pursue working with him again, but this other opportunity sort of fell into our laps, so we gave it a shot. I’m not surprised it didn’t work out but it was just a disappointment after a long and hard week.
Have a good weekend!

OK, the dog is beyond belief.RYC: What you’re describing sounds a lot like how I participate in Lent. I do find that I benefit from giving something up for the duration — whether a vice or just something that takes up my time & money — in order to focus on God instead. I think the total fast, though, is for people made of sturdier stuff than I am. =)

Your husband must be cool if he loves Bob Dylan. If I ever have kids, there might be a Dylan in there, you never know.Really cute puppy!
